Pam Klemz – Operations Manager

I've been employed with Cleaning Connection for 20 years. 
I have seen a lot of growth in our company over those years, but our premise remains the same: The Customer is the Key to Our success.  A big part of my job is Quality Control and Customer Service. We strive to be Dependable, Affordable and Trustworthy. We provide a variety of services to our customers including; cleaning, carpet care, hard surface floor care, window cleaning and so much more. Quality is essential to retaining a customer. As a result, we monitor our staff regularly to assure the quality of their work.  I always say,
 “It's our business to make your business look good!”
I am a proud alum of Roosevelt High School and a graduate of Iowa State University where I received my BS in Accounting. I joined the Cleaning Connection in 2013 as the Chief Financial Officer. I enjoy the work and the people - it's a great company and we have a great crew to work with. I appreciate doing business with our customers and vendors.
Prior to joining the Cleaning Connection I worked at Heritage Payroll Services for fifteen years. I'm a spreadsheet nerd and like to ride my bike year around.

I have worked in the construction business for over forty years in various capacities.  As a result, I know that the construction business can be a messy business - from building material packaging to building material scraps and everything in between it creates a lot of trash.   And, I understand the contractors needs and expectations when it comes to a site clean-up.  They want the site to be clean and safe ready for the next shift or the grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony.  And that's exactly what you'll get when working with me and my staff at the Cleaning Connection.

The Cleaning Connection has done clean up and final touches for huge projects including the Facebook's Data Center in Altoona, several hospitals and schools in the area and smaller jobs such as mall suites, fast food stores and so on.  Regardless of the size of your project we will meet your needs.

I am a lifelong resident of Des Moines, Iowa. I grew up on South Side and attended Christ the King grade school then Dowling High School. After high school I went to Iowa State University where I double majored in Communications and Political Science. I joined the Cleaning Connection in 2014 and I feel it is the perfect fit for me. I love the business and I am passionate about the welfare of our clients. I am grateful for the amazing client base we have at the Cleaning Connection - I consider them "friends." I try to treat every client as though they are a member of our family because that's exactly what they are - a member of the Cleaning Connection family. In my spare time I love to go sailing with my family and I enjoy the local music scene and getting to know the local musicians.

Jerry Futer – General Manager - Janitorial Services

I am the General Manager of Operations with Cleaning Connection. I have been in this position for almost two years and with the company for nearly 8 years. Before becoming General Manager of Operations I worked as department head in the special projects and property management. During my tenure with Cleaning Connection I have been a part of some determined and dynamic teams. The message has always been the same...We do whatever it takes for the customer in order to provide total customer satisfaction. It is this platform from which I perform my duties every day.

I am a graduate of William Penn University with a degree in Business Administration. I have continued my education with IICRC and proud to say I have earned Clean Trust certifications in Water Restoration and Carpet Cleaning Technician.
As Director of Cleaning Connection’s Fire & Water Restoration and Carpet & Hard Surface Cleaning in Des Moines and surrounding counties my areas of responsibility includes cleaning up after fires and floods for both residential and commercial properties. I also oversee tile and carpet cleaning, concrete polishing and upholstery cleaning – we even do car detailing and RV and boat cleaning. Without question the Cleaning Connection is a full service cleaning company – we do it all.
